HEALTHY SPICY RECIPE : CHEESE PASTA


 HEALTHY SPICY RECIPE :  CHEESE PASTA

1 CUP SHREDDED PASTA CHEESE

3/4 CUP UNCOOKED PENNE PASTA

1 CHOPPED ONION

2 TBSP BUTTER

2 TBSP. WHITE FLOUR

2.1/2 CUPS MILK

1/2 TSP SALT

1 GREEN CHILLI CHOPPED

1 TBSP. SHOPPED GARLIC

1/4 TSP. RED CHILLI POWDER

PINCH CHILLI FLAKES

PINCH COARSELY GROUND PEPPER FOR GARNISHING

MELT  1 TBSP. BUTTER IN A PAN.
ADD WHITE FLOUR AND GRADUALLY ADD MILK TO AVOID LUMPS.
BRING TO BOIL.
COOK FOR 2-3 MINUTES AND KEEP ASIDE.
COOK THE PENNE PASTA AS DIRECTED ON PACK.
IN ANOTHER PAN PUT 1 TBSP. BUTTER.
SAUTE ONION, GARLIC AND CHILLIES FOR A MINUTE.
ADD PASTA AND STIR.
ADD THE WHITE SAUCE, SHREDDED PASTA CHEESE AND COOK FOR A MINUTE.
GARNISH WITH MORE SHREDDED PASTA CHEESE, CHILLI FLAKES AND PEPPER.
SERVE IMMEDIATELY.
