4 BAY LEAVES - TEJPTTA
2 CINNAMON STICKS
SET A PAN WITH WATER ON LOW HEAT AND STIR IN THE SUGAR SLOWLY TILL IT DISSOLVES.
ADD THE BAY LEAVES AND CINNAMON STICKS.
BOIL THE CONCOCTION FOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES.
STRAIN THE SYRUP WITH A FINE STRAINER.
LET IT COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE.
POUR THE SYRUP IN AN ICE CREAM MAKER AND SET IN MOTION.
WHEN THE SORBET IS CRYSTALLIZED, SPOON INTO A CONTAINER AND KEEP IN THE FREEZER UNTIL NEEDED.
REMOVE FROM FREEZER.
GENTLY BREAK THE MIXTURE WITH A FORK. THEN RETURN TO THE FREEZER AND FREEZE OVER NIGHT BEFORE SERVING
