HEALTHY SPICY RECIPE: CREAM OF CARROT SOUP .

2 CUPS  CARROT PIECES

1 MEDIUM ONION, QUARTERED

1.1/2 CUPS MILK

1 CUP VEGETABLE STOCK

1/3 CUP BUTTER

1/2 CUP WATER

2 WHOLE CLOVES

2 TBSP. FLOUR

1/2 CUP CREAM

PUT CARROTS, ONION, MILK AND VEGETABLE STOCK INTO MIXER JAR.
COVER AND PROCESS UNTIL CARROTS ARE COARSELY CHOPPED.
DRAIN THROUGH COLANDER, RESERVING LIQUID.
SAUTE VEGETABLES IN BUTTER.
ADD WATER AND CLOVES.
COOK UNTIL TENDER.
REMOVE CLOVES, PUT HALF THE RESERVED LIQUID,VEGETABLES, BUTTER AND FLOUR INTO MIXER BLENDER CONTAINER, COVER AND PROCESS UNTIL SMOOTH.
POUR INTO SAUCEPAN.
ADD REMAINING LIQUID AND COOK SLOWLY ABOUT 10 MINUTES.
STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
JUST BEFORE SERVING ADD CREAM.
SEASON TO TEST WITH SALT AND PEPPER AND HERBS.
