HEALTHY RECIPE :  BULGUR (DALIA) SALSD -EASY TO COOK SALAD.


1 CUP MEDIUM BULGUR - DALIYA

2 CUPS WATER

1.1/2 CUPS COOKED CHICKPEAS

2 CUCUMBERS - CHOPPED

SALT TO TEST

3 TOMATOES -CHOPPED

2 SPRING ONIONS -CHOPPED FINE

1 CUP MINT LEAVES -CHOPPED FINE

80 ML. EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

80 ML. LEMON JUICE.

BRING THE WATER  TO A BOIL, AND ADD BULGUR AND SALT.
 STIR, COVER AND COOK FOR 15 MINUTES, UNTIL ALL  THE WATER IS ABSORBED.
TURN IN TO A MIXING BOWL AND COOL COMPLETELY.
MIX IN TOMATOES, SPRING  ONIONS AND CHOPPED HERBS.
DRIZZLE OVER WITH OLIVE OIL AND LEMON JUICE, AND MIX GENTLY. CHECK SEASONING AND SERVE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE OR CHILLED.
